Steven Yu Villanueva

Steven Yu Villanueva, M.D. is certified by the National Board of Physicians and surgeons certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology subspeciality. In 1988, he began his residency at Guthrie Medical Center in Pennsylvania where he later pursued his fellowship. From 1986-1988, Dr. Villanueva completed a Fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he performed clinical research in Hepatology. After working at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, he joined G.I. Associates in 1995.

Iselis Garcia joined Borland Groover as a nurse practitioner in 2017. She partners closely with Dr. Butt and Dr. Roychowdhury and is dedicated to providing patient-centered care in the specialty of Gastroenterology. She believes in building a strong and supportive rapport with patients. She is bilingual and holds a National board certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. Iselis' passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients and the enjoyment in keeping them healthy.

Katie joined Borland Groover as a Physician Assistant in May of 2017. She attended The University of Florida where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Microbiology. She is an avid Gator fan! She went to PA school in Worcester, Massachusetts and enjoyed New England, but was happy to return home to Florida.

Raychel Raymer, PA-C is a Jacksonville, FL native. She graduated cum laude from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business marketing. After gearing up for law school, Raychel realized that her true calling was medicine. She went back to school to pursue health studies while working for Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Ronald Racho, D.O. specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Racho graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.
