He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.

Dr. Oxana Norkina is a gastroenterologist at our Baptist Beaches location. After earning a medical degree in 1999 from Novosibirsk State Medical University, Dr. Norkina was involved in biomedical research at the University of Kansas, University of Massachusetts and later at Wayne State University. Her research on improving disease and treatment outcomes in patients with cystic fibrosis and liver diseases was presented at multiple international scientific conferences.

After medical school, he completed his internal medicine residency at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York.

Driven by a passion for medicine and a desire to pursue a career in the United States, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2013.

Dr. Ross earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, his Doctorate in Medicine from East Tennessee State University (ETSU), his residency at Rutgers- New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, and completed his Gastroenterology training at ETSU. Originally from South Florida, Dr. Ross felt it was important to get back to his home state as his parents recently retired to South Florida. Dr. Ross is excited to join the Borland Groover team and provide quality care to the Jacksonville Community.

Dr. Kinesh Changela is an interventional gastroenterologist at the Borland Groover Clinic and affiliated with The Baptist Medical Center – Downtown Jacksonville. Dr. Changela received his medical degree from Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University in India. He completed a residency in internal medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai New York, where he was selected as a chief resident during his fourth year.

She then went on to complete training in Internal Medicine in 2008 and served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine in 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH and ultimately completing her fellowship training in Gastroenterology in 2013 at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
