Timothy J. Cavacini, D.O. is certified by the National Board of Physicians and surgeons certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology subspeciality.. After graduating from Rutgers College in 1986 with a B.A. in Biology, Dr. Cavacini continued his education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and became a doctor of Osteopathy. In 1991, Dr. Cavacini completed his rotating internship at Lewistown Hospital in Pennsylvania. He began his residency at Geisinger Medical Center and completed his medical training with a Gastroenterology fellowship at Robert Packer Hospital, Guthrie Clinic, also in Pennsylvania. Dr. Cavacini joined G.I. Associates in 1996.
