Cheryl Roche
Cheryl Roche ,
Cheryl Roche is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Florida, and master’s degree from University of North Florida. Prior to joining Borland Groover, Cheryl practiced at Baptist Primary Care and internal medicine in the beaches area.
Borland Groover Announces Construction is Underway for its New Orange Park Endoscopy Center
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Borland Groover, North Florida’s leading gastroenterology provider, announces their newest technologically advanced surgery center and medical facility will open in early 2023, in Orange Park. The new location will bring approximately 50 competitive wage jobs to the area.
The 29,000 sq ft. facility is located at 805 Wells Road in Orange Park. The first floor will feature an ambulatory surgery center with five procedure rooms, and the second floor will house 29 medical office exam rooms with a three-chair infusion suite.

Christopher Navas, MD, is a trained medical internist and gastroenterologist. He sees patients with a myriad of GI issues including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, pancreatic diseases, disorders of the stomach, small and large intestine, gastroesophageal reflux disease and GI motility disorders. His goal as a physician is to establish a quality and caring physician-patient relationship where he strives to understand his patient’s healthcare needs and implement patient directed care.
Vikas Patel
Vikas Patel ,
Dr. Patel joins Borland Groover after completing his fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Florida in Gainesville. During fellowship, he also rotated through the North Florida VA and in his final year, he was appointed co-chief fellow. He grew up in Maryland and while in high school, he worked at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology on the Walter Reed Army Medical Center campus in Washington D.C. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland.
Rebecca Noles
Rebecca Noles ,
Rebecca is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Borland Groover in 2022. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing at South University in Savannah, Georgia. She partners closely with Dr. Comar and Dr. Poland and is dedicated to providing patient-centered care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters, boating, and enjoys watching college football – especially the Georgia Bulldogs!
Jennifer Marzoug
Jennifer Marzoug ,
Jennifer Marzoug is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has practiced at Borland Groover since 2015. Mrs. Marzoug’s practice focus is providing the best possible care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders. She works alongside Dr. Anand Patel at the Dillon Building at the St. Vincent’s Ascension Riverside practice location.
