Sian Chisholm

Sian Chisholm

Dr. Chisholm practices general gastroenterology with special interests in colorectal cancer prevention and women’s health. She is trained for multiple procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy. Her research interests include Barrett’s esophagus and bowel preparation. Some of her research has been presented at national meetings, including Digestive Disease Week and published in peer reviewed journals.

Antony Maniatis

Antony Maniatis

Dr. Maniatis completed his residency at the University of California School of Medicine, San Francisco and fellowship in gastroenterology at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. He has been in private practice since 1996. Dr. Maniatis has also authored numerous publications, abstracts and poster presentations.

Anhtung Chau

Anhtung Chau

Dr. Anhtung Chau was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to Minnesota in 1993. He attended the University of Minnesota and received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a doctorate in medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Chau completed a residency in internal medicine and worked as a hospitalist, gaining valuable experience, knowledge and patient skills. He returned to the University of Minnesota for further training in a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship, and specializes in inflammatory bowel disease and general hepatology. Mark M. Carter

Mark M. Carter

Dr. Mark Carter is a radiologist at Borland Groover. He received his medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine and has been in practice for 32 years. During college, Dr. Carter received the Cum Laude Award for Scientific Exhibit at RSNA 1984 in Washington, D.C. for “Magnetic Resonance of the Pelvis” and High Honors in Chemistry. He was given membership to the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honorary Academic Tutoring Society, an honor bestowed upon a student of superior scholastic achievement.

Dinesh Madhok

Dinesh Madhok

Dr. Madhok graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College, one of the top medical schools in India, in 1984. He completed an internship at the St. Stephens Hospital in Delhi, India before pursuing further training at the Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency in internal medicine in 1990 and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology in 1993. He relocated to the Jacksonville area in 1993 and has been with Borland Groover since 1997.

M. Akin Cabi

M. Akin Cabi

Dr. Cabi completed his residency at Yale University School of Medicine, Norwalk Hospital. Prior to joining Borland Groover in 1997, Dr. Cabi was on staff and teaching faculty at the University of Florida, SHANDS, Jacksonville. Dr. Cabi is an active clinical investigator, involved in research trial conducted at the Borland Groover Research Foundation.

Dr. Cabi serves as a member of the board of directors for Borland Groover and is the medical director for the Jacksonville Center for Endoscopy.

Ali Lankarani

Ali Lankarani

Dr. Lankarani joined Borland Groover in 2012 from the Mayo Clinic hospital. He moved to Jacksonville from Pittsburgh after finishing his training in gastroenterology at the Drexel University- West Penn Allegheny Health System. Dr. Lankarani studied internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins University-Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

Mujtaba Butt

Mujtaba Butt

Born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Butt completed his residency and fellowship training in gastroenterology at the SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. After completion of his GI fellowship, Dr. Butt worked in the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic for two years. Dr. Butt holds board certifications for both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology.

Andrew Brown

Andrew Brown

Dr. Brown attended the University of South Alabama where he earned his medical degree in 2001, and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of South Alabama in 2007. Before joining Borland Groover as a gastroenterologist in 2009, he worked with the Birmingham VA Medical Center as the chief of gastroenterology, and served as the director of endoscopy as well.

Dr. Brown has been instrumental in the development of the clinic’s electronic medical record templates, and serves on the EMR physician development committee.

Louis Agnone

Louis Agnone

Dr. Louis Agnone has been practicing gastroenterology for over 20 years and joined Borland Groover in 2007. He completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology in 1989. Dr. Agnone has been an active staff member at both Halifax Medical Center and Florida Hospital - Ormond Beach, and is currently medical director of the Surgery Center of Volusia and managing partner of Borland Groover’s Port Orange office location.
