Kristina Rijo, APRN, brings over 20 years of nursing experience to her role. After dedicating two decades to patient care, she returned to school to further her expertise as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys working out and going on runs. As an avid sports fan, on weekends, Kristina enjoys cheering on her son at football games while passionately supporting the Jacksonville Jaguars every Sunday.
Alisha Morris has been a Nurse Practitioner for eight years, bringing a diverse background in emergency medicine, family practice, and pain management to her role at Watkins Allergy.
Kimberly Sanders, MD, grew up on a farm in Franklin, TN, with an amazing family who instilled in her the values of hard work and compassion. From a young age, she felt called to pursue medicine. Dr. Sanders received her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her residency in internal medicine at UF Health Jacksonville, where she developed a deep affection for the city.
My name is Lindsay Jackson and I have been practicing as a nurse for 6 years. I received my BSN from the University of Central Florida in 2020 and graduated with my MSN from Chamberlain University in May of 2023. I have worked in a variety of different areas as an RN and worked as an APRN within the Urgent Care setting over the last year. It is important to me to use a team approach in patient care by combining the most current clinical guidelines in coordination with patient-centered decision making.
Dr. Ponniah is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and Gastroenterologist originally from Toronto, Canada. He pursued his medical training at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where he completed both Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology/Hepatology.
Dr. Andrea S. Pagan is a gastroenterologist at Borland Groover. Originally from Puerto Rico, graduated summa cum laude from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. After medical school, she completed her Internal medicine residency at University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. She then went on to complete a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, husband, and pets. With a deep appreciation for nature, Dr.
Dr. Madhav Desai is a board-certified interventional endoscopist, esophagus expert and gastroenterologist at the Borland Groover Clinic affiliated with the St. Vincent Ascension (Riverside and Southside) Hospitals and the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville (South and Clay).
Dr. Hardik Shah joined Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York after finishing medical school in India to learn public health and biostatistics. After which he joined the internal medicine residency program in Newark, New Jersey where he was appointed as a chief medical resident due to his excellence in medical knowledge, patient care and compassion.
