Ronald Racho

Dr. Ronald Racho, D.O. specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Racho graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. After medical school, he completed his internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He then completed his gastroenterology fellowship and earned a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. In his final year of gastroenterology fellowship, Dr. Racho was named Chief Fellow. Dr. Racho’s interest in liver diseases led him to pursue additional training in advanced hepatology and liver transplantation. He returned to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville where he completed an additional fellowship in Transplant Hepatology. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife who is a practicing dermatologist.
