Krunal Patel, MD |Gastroenterologist

Dr. Krunal Patel is board certified gastroenterologist with Borland Groover. He is originally from Mumbai, India where he attended Topiwala National Medical College. Dr. Patel furthered his career in Internal Medicine at University of Arizona college of Medicine in Tucson Arizona. He received the award for Best overall Resident during his final year in training. He was went on to become a 4th year chief resident at Bridgeport Hospital with Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut. He completed his Fellowship training at Louisiana state University in Shreveport. He worked in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a few years where he was also the vice chief of staff for the hospital. He enjoys all aspects of Gastroenterology especially cancer prevention.

He moved to Jacksonville Florida with his wife who is a pediatric Cardiologist. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, watching sports but most importantly spending time with his family and kids.
