William Dungan
Raised in Mississippi, Dr. William Dungan earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Dungan provides care for patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including colon cancer screening and prevention, acid reflux (GERD), swallowing disorders, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and other digestive disorders. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and strives to help patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment decisions.

The Emerald Coast has long held special meaning for Dr. Dungan and his family. He and his wife were married in Seaside and now live in Santa Rosa Beach with their daughter and son. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time at the beach with his family, Ole Miss football, cycling, and grilling.
