Peter A. Senada, MD |Gastroenterologist

With a medical degree from Cairo University and global research credentials from Harvard  Medical School, Dr. Peter Senada offers a unique perspective to the Borland Groover  gastroenterology team. Dr. Senada completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at  the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. He fulfilled his internal medicine  residency at NCH Healthcare System, an affiliate of Mayo Clinic. 

Dr. Senada’s background reflects a strong foundation in gastroenterology, hepatology, internal  medicine and clinical research. Before his fellowship, he completed research training in the  gastroenterology and transplant departments at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. His experience also  includes a gastroenterology oncology observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center  in New York. 

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Senada holds an active Florida  medical license and has completed Harvard Medical School’s Global Clinical Scholars Research  Training program. He has contributed to more than 25 research publications, abstracts, oral  presentations and posters. 

Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Senada brings a multilingual background to patient care.  Outside of medicine, Dr. Senada enjoys spending time with his family and friends. In his free  time, he enjoys traveling, baking sourdough bread and playing soccer.
