Kimberly Sanders, MD, grew up on a farm in Franklin, TN, with an amazing family who instilled in her the values of hard work and compassion. From a young age, she felt called to pursue medicine. Dr. Sanders received her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her residency in internal medicine at UF Health Jacksonville, where she developed a deep affection for the city. She went on to complete her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Missouri Kansas City. During her time in Kansas City, she met her loving husband and became a fan of both the Chiefs and the Jaguars. Despite her travels, Jacksonville has always held a special place in her heart, and she is eager to join Borland Groover to serve the local community.

In addition to her professional life, Dr. Sanders enjoys spending time with her family and being a new mom to her son, Sawyer. In her free time, she loves running, traveling, soccer, the beach, and snuggling up with their black lab, Cooper.
