Annu Gupta, MD |Gastroenterologist

Annu Gupta, MD, is a trained medical internist and gastroenterologist. She sees patients with a myriad of GI issues including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, pancreatic diseases, disorders of the stomach, small and large intestine, gastroesophageal reflux disease and GI motility disorders. Her goal as a physician is to establish a quality and caring physician-patient relationship where she strives to understand her patient’s healthcare needs and implement patient directed care.

Dr. Gupta completed her undergraduate degree in medicine and surgery from Shri Siddhartha Medical College, Karnataka, India. She then completed her professional training for her certifications in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine. As Chief Fellow, she completed her Liver Transplant Fellowship at Rutgers University. Dr. Gupta was an assistant professor as the Transplant Center Hepatologist at the University of Kentucky. Her work experience lead to many roles within research, public health internship, internal medicine resident. Dr. Gupta is committed to connecting with her patients and providing excellent patient care.

In her free time, Dr. Gupta enjoys traveling and cooking! She is practicing at the HCA Memorial Office.
