New executive leaders join trusted long-term team members to guide the future of the more than 75-year-old organization.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., October 21, 2025 — Borland Groover is supporting the next phase of growth with the announcement of a realigned leadership team dedicated to the advancement of providing world-class digestive healthcare across Florida.

Founded in 1947, Borland Groover’s new and seasoned leaders share a common goal: to meet the changing needs of patients while navigating the evolving healthcare landscape with unified leadership and operational efficiency.

The new executive leaders include Dinesh Madhok, M.D., as Chief Executive Officer; Tom Bailey as Chief Financial Officer; Cloyd Thomas Jr. as Chief Operating Officer, Clinic; and Pamela Nix as Chief Human Resources Officer. These additions join longtime Chief Operating Officer for Borland Groover’s Ancillary Division Jackie Kennedy, who has been with the organization since 2011. Kennedy oversees ambulatory surgery center operations, anesthesia, infusion and pathology, and plays a key role in business development and enterprise growth strategy. Also continuing in his

leadership role is Vince Vitali, Chief Information Officer since 2023, who leads the enterprise’s technology infrastructure, data systems, cybersecurity and AI adoption.

“Together, this team combines fresh perspective with proven experience to move Borland Groover forward in delivering the best in patient care,” said Kennedy.

The leadership changes reflect a thoughtful realignment of the executive team to better position the organization for the future. The current team brings together a mix of new and established leaders with expertise in clinical operations, finance, technology and ancillary services. Their diverse experience supports Borland Groover’s strategic goals, strengthens operational efficiency and enhances patient care across the regions it serves.

Meet the New Leaders

Dinesh Madhok, M.D., Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Dinesh Madhok has been part of Jacksonville’s medical community since 1993 and joined Borland Groover in 1997. A board-certified gastroenterologist with more than three decades of experience, he earned his medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College in India before completing his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. As Chief Executive Officer of Borland Groover, one of the nation’s largest gastroenterology practices, Dr. Madhok guides the organization’s growth and reinforces its commitment to patient-centered care. He also serves as Chief of Gastroenterology for the graduate medical education program at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital and is a member of the hospital’s board of trustees.

Tom Bailey, Chief Financial Officer

Tom Bailey joined Borland Groover in April 2025. He previously served as Vice President of Finance at Brooks Rehabilitation and chief financial officer at UF Health St. Johns. He is responsible for finance, accounting, compliance, imaging, managed care and revenue cycle operations across the organization. Bailey holds MBA and MHA degrees, is a Fellow of both ACHE and HFMA, a Trustee for the Jacksonville Chamber, and serves on the Board of Directors for The Assistance Fund.

Cloyd Thomas Jr., Chief Operating Officer, Clinic

Cloyd Thomas Jr. joined Borland Groover in August 2025 as Chief Operating Officer, Clinic. He brings more than a decade of leadership experience in healthcare operations, with a strong track record of improving performance, expanding services and fostering collaboration across multi-site clinical environments. Throughout his career, Thomas has led initiatives to enhance patient access, streamline operational workflows, and support clinical teams in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Thomas earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toledo and his Master of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University.

Pamela Nix, Chief Human Resources Officer

Pamela Nix joined Borland Groover in 2023 and brings executive leadership experience in high-growth organizations. As Chief Human Resources Officer, she oversees all HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, compliance, policy and employee relations. Her focus is on aligning the company’s talent strategy with business goals and fostering a strong culture that supports the recruitment, development and long-term retention of physicians and staff across the enterprise. Nix holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of Memphis. She is certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Accredited in Public Relations (APR).
