My passion for nutrition began in high school after being diagnosed with celiac disease, a challenge that ultimately inspired me to pursue a career as a dietitian. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida State University and my Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Mississippi.
My experience includes patient services management, where I oversaw hospital food service staff, led all nutrition programming, and spearheaded innovative new initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes. I’ve also worked in a long-term care clinical setting, where I developed strong rapport with residents in order to support them toward a better quality of life through improved nutrition. I’m now thrilled to join the Borland Groover team and focus on the area that originally inspired my career: gastrointestinal nutrition.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two pets, a Golden Retriever and a small black cat who get along better than you’d expect. Our favorite vacation spot is Spain, where we spent our honeymoon exploring the country from coast to coast and enjoying its incredible food, culture and scenery.
