Alice Carter is excited to join Borland Groover and Dr. Gassert in serving patients in the St. Augustine community. She earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Adult/Gerontology Acute Care from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. Prior to joining Borland Groover, she was employed as a hospitalist at Flagler Hospital and as an ER nurse and endoscopy nurse prior to that. She enjoys building patient relationships, human physiology and the process of investigating and treating illness. She is a devoted mother of three and loves all ocean related activities including Scuba diving. She was part of a medical mission trip to Haiti and hopes to participate in similar future activities.
