Dr. Parth M. Desai is a board-certified interventional gastroenterologist with subspecialty fellowship training in advanced endoscopy. He specializes in the management of pancreaticobiliary disorders, GI neoplasia, and complex luminal diseases.
Dr. Desai earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, followed by a year of practicing hospital-based internal medicine at Ochsner Medical Center – West Bank in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then pursued fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania, where he served as co-chief fellow. To further specialize in interventional GI procedures, Dr. Desai completed an additional fellowship in advanced endoscopy at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
His clinical approach combines evidence-based medicine with the latest endoscopic innovations to deliver thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Dr. Desai has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research at national gastroenterology conferences. He has also served as teaching faculty at both Ochsner Clinical School and Drexel University College of Medicine, reflecting his commitment to education and mentorship.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Desai enjoys life as a husband and father. He and his family spend their free time exploring museums and enjoying the water.
