Paola A. Gonzalez, PA-C, MPAS, is a board-certified physician assistant with several years of experience in hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal diseases. She is a bilingual provider (Spanish) who strongly focuses on disease prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles. 

Her approach includes designing individualized plans of care by providing patient education, ordering proper labs, images, procedures, as well as adjusting pharmacologic therapies and coordinating care with other professional disciplines. She implements current evidence-based interventions and practice guidelines for a wide variety of conditions.

Ms. Gonzalez completed her MPA, Master of Physician Assistant Studies, at the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2017 and a Fellowship from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) in 2019. She works closely with Dr. DiTeodoro and together they share a passion for Hepatology and Liver Transplant. Ms. Gonzalez gained most of her experience working at UF Shands Hepatology Department and their liver transplant team in Gainesville, FL.
